Very little. We don't need you to be a writer or a designer. During our Onboarding Call, we interview you to extract your expertise. After that, we handle the copy, the layout, and the technical setup. You just approve the final look.
There are two ways:
1. You just email us (Recommended). That’s the "Evolving" part. Most business owners let their sites rot because they are afraid to break something or don't want to pay a developer $150/hour. With us, those changes are included. We want your site to stay fresh.
Some more specific use cases, would be if you need to add or remove a team member from your "Our Team Section" (If you have one) - We would help you get the new person added into your site with no additonal charge.
2. You can request to have editor access to the site, which allows you to make basic changes all yourself.

We never want our members to feel trapped. We have put protections in place for you, while also protecting ourselves. Once your total payments to Evolving Sites reach $3,600 (one year), your website design is officially considered "paid for" At that point, you have the option to cancel all the amazing ongoing services of Evolving Sites. You can either setup a lower-cost "Hosting Only" plan, which your site stays live and online, but our team will stop performing the updates and improvements. Or you can pay a transfer fee (depends on the size of your site) to have us move the site to another agency or designer.
You are free to cancel at any time with zero termination fees—this is exactly why our model is so safe for your budget.
However, because we invest massive upfront resources to build you a website valued at over $10,000, we need to ensure the partnership is fair. If you decide to part ways before reaching the $3,600 ownership threshold (typically 12 months), the website itself will be taken offline.
Rest assured, you always retain full ownership of your domain name. You are free to take that URL and start a new build with a different provider immediately.
